Shifting Paradigms believes that transition to a low-carbon, circular economy is necessary. Director Jelmer Hoogzaad’s work on climate mitigation builds on the conviction is that circular economy strategies can cut greenhouse gas emissions beyond what conventional climate strategies can achieve. In the OECD alone, around 60% of our greenhouse gas emissions are related to material management. Jelmers approach is a combination of technical analysis and stakeholder engagement.
